Project Starfish is a seniors’ befriender programme that focuses on building relationships with seniors who come to lean on them, just like they would on a good friend.

Project Starfish serves about 300 seniors in the Kebun Baru precinct. They take special care of seniors without social or familial support living alone. The faces of the seniors light up whenever volunteer befrienders visit them. Seniors enjoy sharing some of their interesting past stories to befrienders.
